Bioavailability of Magnesium in Two Plus

Greater Availability

The measure of the solubility of a metal/mineral (such as magnesium) and its counterpart (called a ligand) is the stability constant. The lower the stability constant, the greater the availability of magnesium.

The stability constant of the magnesium contained in Two Plus is approaching zero.

100% Bioavailable

The stability constant of the magnesium in Two Plus is effectively zero. Scientifically, this means that 100% of the labeled magnesium in Two Plus is readily available – throughout a pH range of 2 to 7.4. Stomach acid has a pH of 2-3 and 7.4 is the approximate pH of extracellular fluids such as serum (blood) and lymph.

No Enzymes Needed!

Restated: This means that even if you have low/no stomach acid, Two Plus is still bioavailable and can be utilized, even without the addition of Betaine HCl or digestive enzyme aids.

Hospital - Strength

Many adults suffer from low stomach acid, and therefore, do not benefit fully from other forms of magnesium supplementation. The cost per unit of magnesium absorbed is actually higher for many seemingly inexpensive forms of magnesium than for hospital-strength Two Plus.

The quantity of magnesium ions (Mg 2+) delivered into the body from one teaspoon of Two Plus is equal to a one gram infusion of magnesium sulfate given as a therapeutic dose in pain clinics and hospitals. One 8 oz. bottle of Two Plus contains forty-eight teaspoons.

Fast - Acting

A hypo or infusion of magnesium ions gives results in fifteen minutes or less. A dose of liquid, ionic Two Plus typically gives results you can feel in ten minutes to one and one half hours. Fastest results are achieved when taken on an empty stomach!
